Directions to Sundial Guesthouse
From the South via M6 & East via A65 (Kirby Lonsdale)
| 1. | Leave M6 at exit 36 or if on A65 pass over M6 on Junction 36 |
| 2. | Follow South Lakes and Kendal signs along the dual carriageway for 6 miles |
| 3. | After the BP petrol station on the left take next left exit signpost for South Kendal A6 |
| 4. | Follow this road (A6) on the first set of traffic lights, 1 mile approx. |
| 5. | Drive across the lights, and immediately indicate right. You will see a service road leading up to a row of Victorian houses. Sundial is the third along. |
We are directly opposite Kendal College. On arrival we will give you directions to the private car park at the back.
From the North via M6
| 1. | Leave M6 at exit 39, signpost for Shap & Kendal A6 |
| 2. | Follow A6 South towards Kendal for approx. 14 miles |
| 3. | Continue on the A6 through Kendal following the South M6 & Lancaster signs all the way |
| 4. | You will enter the one system and pass over two narrow bridges which span the river |
| 5. | Eventually you will end up with the river on your right, keep in the left hand lane, you will pass a bridge on your right, and then the K Village factory outlet on your right. Soon you will arrive at a roundabout. |
| 6. | Get in the right hand lane and take the third exit off the roundabout; again you will see signposts for M6 South |
| 7. | You will pass over the river at this point. Take the third turning right onto a street called Park Street |
| 8. | Travel approx. 100 yards down this street. You will come to a tarmac lane, with a signpost Prive road Romney Bank. Turn up this lane. |
| 9. | At the top of the lane you will turn right. Sundial car park is immediately on the right |
| 10. | Use the small back yard as access round to the front door |
If travelling by train, leave the train at Oxenholme Station. There are taxi's available outside the station. Sundial is a 10-minute journey.
